The Mayer family of entrepreneurs founds “Maschinenfabrik Spaichingen GmbH” in Albstadt.

The company begins its successful production of circular knitting machines.

Construction of the new premises is completed.

Production of sock knitting machines.

Production of multilayer ceramic circuits for IBM.

The first assembly of ultrasonic welding machines, followed by the development and production of the first ultrasonic punching machines in 1994.

Location in Michigan (USA) is established for ultrasonic welding machine sales and service.

Maschinenfabrik Spaichingen is acquired by the listed company
GCI Management AG, Munich.

Ultrasonic product range is expanded with systems and components for the packaging industry.

Maschinenfabrik Spaichingen changes its name to MS Spaichingen GmbH.

MS Ultrasonic Technology Group is founded. The units of MS Spaichingen GmbH are made into independent divisions. The welding technology division now operates under the name MS Ultraschall Technologie GmbH.

The group invests in WTP MS Ultrasonics Ltda. in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Shanghai MS soniTEC Co., Ltd. Is founded in Jiangyin, China.

The new ultrasonic servo press MS sonxTOP is launched on the market.

The new ultrasonic generators are launched on the market.

Production facilities in Spaichingen are expanded to meet demand. Tool manufacturing is extended to include state-of-the-art machine tools.

Change of name from MS Plastic Welders, LLC to MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC. Relocation to the new company building in Howell.

Opening of the MS Competence Center at the Ettlingen site with the expansion of the application portfolio to include continuous joining, stamping and perforating of nonwovens and the sealing of packaging.
